2009 Ford Bronco

Ford revives model Bronco first issued in 1966. A prototype of the compact SUV Full power was shown in Detroit back in January 2004, but then not a single word was said about the possibility of mass production.

Now say that SUV-style retro planned for release in late 2007 or early 2008. While this model, apparently, is to Americans, it should wait for the emergence and Europe. This time, the car will stand on a platform and a new generation Fiesta promises to be affordable, economical and youthful looks. It is obvious that he will not be a V8 engine, which belonged to the old Bronco.

2009 Ford Bronco will be lower than the price of $ 10,000 USA, according to the report.

Nothing will touch the old broncos. I have a 73 that puts most new trucks to shame.

Ford should stick with the classic look rather than going with a Jeep/Hummer ripoff. This doesn’t even look like a Bronco.

You guys need to put a V8 in that thing man it needs to be able to get people places and win races. It looks alright it just needs a v8

These Broncos look really nice but they need to look more like the older models like the 1978 and 1979 models. Another good suggestion would be the put the new 6.4 litre diesel with the twin turbo in it. I think if somthing like that would happen would be awsome and more people would buy them because they are diesels.

Anyone know if they are still planning to build this ? Or when ? Can’t wait to see what they do with it could be a great hunting rig or a nice rig for a kid . They will I’m sure start simple and if sales go right they will beef it up just as they did in the 60’s and 70’s.

I own a 1993 Eddie Bauer Bronco with the 5.8 full package 3″ lift and 33″ tires. If this new Bronco is going to stand with the Old swamper Broncos. It had better be a hoss and ready to be lifted and rode hard. It looks OK but it needs some real horse power. Here in the south we love our trucks but they need to do the job right the first time.

I have been waiting for Ford to come out with an aggresive version of the bronco…I just pray that they don’t shame the Bronco name with the little excuse of a Scion Rip off…I have a 77′ and I would gladly buy the new one if they stick with the 04′ concept.

I’d love to see the Bronco come back, but this looks way too much like the International Scout! That front end resembles a Scout! You guys can do better. I do like the idea of a diesel engine, maybe a smaller one for better mileage than the 6 liter diesel! Many of us have kids, can you make a 4-door? How much and when?

The Ford Company should keep the original style, but maybe add some new to it. Like the lights you see mix it up a little bit. Also go with the new interior with the old comfort. No one want’s to buy plastic, but stick to the old fashioned metal trucks. Something a guy can go out, have a good time… say in the mud and not have to worry about spending alot on parts that break, like the plastic chevy uses on their bumpers.

For everyone saying they should keep to the original style of the Bronco I have news for you. This is the original style. Most Broncos you see look different because they are late models. This is what an early model looked like. Second this thing will probably never be as strong as the old Broncos so quit dreaming. They cant make it as strong and robust as the old Broncos and still make it affordable (especially at under 10 grand). There will never be a 4 door Bronco those are call Expeditions. However as cynical as I am with the new world of trucks I really hope I get to be surprised and Ford makes a truck worthy of going on the same trails as my 92 Bronco Custom.

Wow, isn’t this totally wrong? It’s almost April already, which means we are getting out of early 2008, and there has been 0 things saying it was ever going to be produced. Under 10K??? Even a Kia subcompact car couldn’t price that low. This is the most BS article I’ve ever read. Although, it would have been nice if Ford did produce it. It would be a kick ass competitor to the Jeep Wrangler.

Hey, gotta remember that the ford bronco is an icon to ford and should be remade but not too small nor whimpi, i think it should be at least the same size as the 1990`s were. It should have a v8 as standard and diesel as optional. The interior should be as confy and spacious as and like big broncos, and should also have a complete top off for summer fun. But at the end let`s see if is ever made.

Please!!!! make this truck with the tailgate folding down!!!!! and make sure THE!! TOP!! COMES!! OFF!!!!!! if ford does not. they will kill the legend of the best offroad truck they ever made.I grew up with this horse and i love it! please don’t mess up my memories of it and for the future BRONCO lovers.

This truck does look like the real BRONCOS for all the Dumb ass people that think the full size were the originals, like O.J’s. My dad said it best driving the full size is like riding a fat ass cow after driving the small early classic BRONCO’S from 1966 to 1977.They also need to function like the old ones with the windshield folding down, top coming off, tailgate folding down not sideways, ya the concept showed it opening sideways ya not good! bad bad! this truck should have all the hunting camping element’s to it. and it needs to be tuff like a chunk of IRON!! A truck that will climb a mountain.

I don’t know what these people that don’t think this looks like a bronco are thinking have they never seen the 1960s style broncos. How ever it would be nice if they put a real frame with solid axles under this new one.

I love this Bronco. Fabulous. Looks like a retro early 70s Bronco minus the performance. At ten grand it’s good for me. Hope Ford makes it and also makes a full size with V8 power.

enough on this blog already!they just need to mass produce this baby!

Mike R.:

This is a “Retro” idea that Ford has. Therefore, I believe they would like to stick with the styling of the ‘66 - ‘77 body style. I like that idea. You people suggesting that it look like the later version of the Bronco, well, you just don’t get the picture. I feel their prototype looks fine, for a prototype. It could use some refinement. I do agree that it needs to have some umph under the hood, at least a small block V8. The under $10,000 thing, I just don’t see it if they’re going to put a descent product out. By the way, I’ve owned an Early body-style Bronco, ‘74 model, for about ten years.

Tim C.:

I like it, but I think it should come with at least an optinal V8 of some kind and have a small diesel in it some thing like a four leter liter, and I agree that there should be a four door for an option, gut I believe that should ford make it it would appeal to the younger drivers if the roof come off, such as for the summer or spring break.that said FORD START PRODUCTION NOW!!!!!!!

The early model Bronco was the most popular adventure vehicle ever produced. Build it like the original and it will
be a home run! Product manager will get a huge bonus when these things start flying off the showroom floor.
I’m waiting……

Word is that Ford will be announcing a new vehicle line in Louisville, Kentucky very soon. Louisville currently produces the Explorer, Sport Trac and Mercury Mountaineer. Maybe this will be the announcement of the new Bronco. We can only hope.
