2010 Mitsubishi ASX – all new crossover

Mitsubishi company released the first photos of a completely new model, the world premiere of which will be held in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Crossover under the working name ASX is a “westernized” version of the local model RVR, sales of which in Japan are starting in February. Compact five-seat Mitsubishi ASX symbolizes the aspiration of the company to refocus its positioning in Europe, with SUVs in environmentally friendly, economical cars and crossovers.

ASX first among all models of Mitsubishi received a 1.8-liter diesel turbo engine that meets environmental standards Euro-5. He will be fitted with a stop-start “and paired with the manual five-speed gearbox. It is expected that the sale of serial Mitsubishi ASX in Europe will begin in late spring 2010.
