The New Volkswagen Sagitar appears in the Chinese market in February of this year, thanks to the assembly, established on the joint venture FAW-Volkswagen.

It should be noted that the new Volkswagen Sagitar is based on a European version of an old Volkswagen Jetta.

There will be three units in the line of engines – 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI turbocharged and good old 1.6.

The cost will start with 133,000 and will reach 185,000 Yuan ($ 21 070 … 29 310).

Manufacturer of Germany within the nearest time will please its customers with a new car with a hybrid power plant, the batteries which are charged as from internal COMBUSTION engines during driving, as well as a household power outlet.

According to preliminary information, the hybrid unit will include a 150-strong petrol engine with a turbo 1.4-litre electric motor, whose capacity will be about 30 hp. There was premiered concept car Volkswagen E-Bugster in the North American auto show, which is the electric version of the latest generation of “bug”.

The power plant with zero exhaust of the results of the Volkswagen E-Bugster in motion . The electric motor, fed by a rechargeable li-ion battery, develops 116 hp and 270 Nm of torque. On one charge of the battery the two-door coupe without stops overcomes to 161 km. Read the rest of this entry »
