Italian atelier Pagani Automobili preparing a new supercar C9, which will replace Zonda model. Told reporters CEO G.Pagani, C9 - radically new, designed from the ground model: it differs from its predecessor and weight distribution, and the materials used, and aerodynamics. Chassis of the car will be made of titanium and carbon fiber, electronics supply company Bosch, specially designed tires - Pirelli. Pagani C9 will be completed with 6.0-liter V12 production of Mercedes-Benz AMG, develops a 700 hp power and 1000 Nm of torque.
According to G. Pagani, compliance with modern environmental standards will make possible sale of C9 in the United States. Price of the new supercar will be about 900 000 Euros (1 265 000 dollars). The first orders to his studio to begin in September 2010, coinciding with the end of production Zonda.
