Due to the unique hybrid technology anticipated estimated fuel consumption the 918 Spyder in the new European test cycle (NEDC) should be only three liters per 100 kilometers. Its power unit V8 500 hp works in conjunction with two electric motors with a total capacity of 218 hp.
