At the Geneva Motor Show, which opens in early March, Mazda will present new generation of its minivan Mazda5. This car will be placed in the same style as all the latest models of the company.

Apparently, Mazda5 2010 will receive two sliding doors to one side, and both of them will have electric drive. In addition, there is information that the car will produce in two versions: the base five-seater and seven-seat extended.

Under the hood Mazda5 new generation will be hiding petrol engine volume 2.0 liters, which will work together with the system of stop-start. Will the old engine volume of 1.8 L and 2.0-liter diesel.

Mazda showed the lightweight concept car – Superlight, built on the MX-5 roadster. This car is designed with European design division of the company, based in Oberursel, Germany. Concept built to commemorate the 20 anniversary model MX-5/Miata. Premiere of new concept planned for the international auto show in Frankfurt. Mazda Superlight weight is only 995 kg.

Mazda Superlight equipped with a standard four-turbocharged engine of 1.8 liter capacity 126 hp, maximum torque is equal to 166 Nm. Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 9.2 seconds with the concept. Roadster received 17-inch wheels with tires of dimension 205/45, Bilstein shock absorbers and springs Eibach.

Mazda has decided to release a new roadster called the MX-2. According to preliminary estimates new Mazda may appear on the market no earlier than 2013.
