The German press has new information of Mercedes SLC supercar, which will compete in the market with the Audi R8. The car will cost about twice less than the current SLR McLaren, but under the hood of this model will be very powerful 8 – cylinder engine – its volume is 6.3 litres (about 550 hp). Thanks to this power units, the new coupe will be accelerated 0-100 km / h in just 3.8 sec, a maximum speed of the machine would be in the order of 300 km / h.

It is anticipated that the cost of 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLC will be about 150 000 euros.
