Mercedes-Benz began work on creating an entirely new generation of models of Smart. This car should be on the market in 2011-2012. The car apparently will be radically different from the current produced by Smart.

In addition to the new look of Smart III should be a little roomier current model. The new Smart will get more compact power units. Instead of 3-cylinder motor capacity 1,0 l can come aggregates volume 0,5-0,8 liters, which will boost the system.
