Renault introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show, four electric vehicle concept, of which the closest to mass production Fluence ZE model.

Budget Fluence sedan got a new design, 95-hp electric motor and battery lithium-ion batteries, which is enough for 160 kilometers. Charge can be within 4-8 hours, the fastest way for 20 minutes or be replaced by a charged battery on a special stand for 3 minutes.

Electric car plan to release to the markets of Europe and Israel in 2011, when the lithium-ion batteries will become available and the Government will develop a discount program for the purchase of electric vehicles.

French company Renault has published a new image concept, which is entrusted to develop exterior designer of Romania.

Coupe received dreadful, but impressive name-Neptun. According Dragosa Popa, the image of a car during a monitor troubled sea waves. The main objective was the creation of a unique designer car, not similar to any concept. Dragos tried to look at the same time and the car symbolized the strength, grace and ocean waves. Then, the idea was born and the corresponding concept known Neptun.

If the machine goes into production, its main competitors will be Mercedes SLR and Aston Martin Vanquish. In other words, the new Renault will be designed for affluent buyers.
